Staff of the Oswego County Office for the Aging (OFA) and NY Connects will visit several communities around the county throughout November to offer program information and application assistance to those who are unable to visit the Oswego office.

“In an ongoing effort to make information and assistance more accessible to Oswego County residents, our staff continues to work with community partners to bring office hours to multiple locations,” said OFA Director Sara Sunday. “Due to renovations in the Oswego office, we are currently operating in a temporary workspace which doesn’t provide as much privacy to discuss individual cases. Therefore, we’re encouraging people looking for in-person assistance to check in with our staff at one of these sites.”

Those interested in making an appointment should call the OFA weekdays at 315-349-3484.

November community office hours include:

  • Phoenix Public Library, 34 Elm St.: Friday, Nov. 8; 10 a.m. to noon.
  • Oswego Public Library, 120 E. Second St.: Tuesdays, Nov. 12 and 26; 1 to 3 p.m.
  • Catholic Charities of Oswego County, 808 W. Broadway, Fulton: Wednesday, Nov. 13; 10 a.m. to noon.
  • Pulaski Public Library, 4917 N. Jefferson St.: Wednesday, Nov. 13; 10 a.m. to noon.
  • Hannibal Public Library, 162 Oswego St.: Thursday, Nov. 14; 1 to 3 p.m.
  • Mexico Public Library, 3269 Main St.: Thursday, Nov. 21; 10 a.m. to noon.
  • Sandy Creek Town Hall, 1922 Harwood Dr.: Tuesday, Nov. 26; 10 a.m. to noon.
  • Amboy Town Hall, 822 NYS Rte. 69, Williamstown: Friday, Nov. 22; 1 to 3 p.m.
  • Central Square Library, 637 S. Main St.: Wednesday, Nov. 27; 10 a.m. to noon.
