Duggan is the new vice president and chief operating officer of the hospital. She spoke about physician recruitment and retention at the hospital, giving an update on recent recruitments of primary care and sub-specialty ENT, Orthopedics, Urology and General Surgery physicians.
Duggan states radiation oncology is available at the Seneca Hill campus through a collaboration with Upstate Medical Center, a new state of the art MRI machine is at the Hospital and a new C-section room is also available in the maternity unit.
She talked about some of the challenges facing the hospital that are resulting from Medicare and the Affordable Care Act, higher deductibles for patients, national benchmarks being met by the Hospital, new programs being initiated and concluded by saying that her goal is to make sure Oswego Hospital continues to provide the best care possible to the residents of Oswego County.
