Write a commentP.E.O. is a philanthropic organization where women celebrate the advancement of women; educate women through scholarships, grants, awards, loans and stewardship of Cottey College; and motivate women to achieve their highest aspirations.
On July 12, of this year, at the home of Lee Audlin, a picnic was held to honor three scholarship recipients. Scholarships were awarded by P.E.O. Chapter BA of Oswego, NY.
Three local graduates were awarded scholarships and the mother of one of the recent graduates was awarded a scholarship for her graduate work.
Jenna Audlin was awarded the Star Scholarship and also the NYS Janet Griswold Scholarship. Jenna will be attending Hampshire College in Amherst MA in the fall.
Joscelyn Coniski received the Chapter BA Scholar Award. Joscelyn will attend SUNY Oswego in the fall.
Lily Allison was presented with the Nancy Caldwell Scholarship. Lily will attend Nazareth College in Rochester in the fall.
Mindy Audlin was awarded the Program for Continuing Education, PCE, Scholarship for her continuing graduate work. Having mother and daughter award winners is very unique.
