Portion of Valentine’s Day and Sunday brunch sales to benefit Erin’s Angels of CNY

Lock 1 Distillery and Erin’s Angels of CNY have announced a partnership to combat childhood hunger in Oswego County through a two-day fundraising initiative over Valentine’s Day weekend.

On Saturday, February 14, Lock 1 Distillery will donate 10% of all sales from their Valentine’s Day featured items to Erin’s Angels of CNY. This includes their heart-shaped Wierdough Pizza hand-tossed, heart-shaped dough with a garlic and butter base, topped with seasoning, mozzarella, ricotta cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, and hot tomato oil as well as their Erin’s Angel purple drink, available in both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options, and their chocolate-covered strawberry martini. The partnership continues Sunday, February 15, with 10% of all Sunday brunch sales also benefiting Erin’s Angels of CNY and supporting our mission to feed the future of Central New York.

Erin’s Angels of CNY is a nonprofit organization dedicated to uniting people and resources to make food, education, and opportunity a right for every child. Through meals, scholarships, outreach, and advocacy, they break down barriers, so every child is nourished, supported, and empowered to thrive.

“Community partnerships like this are essential to our mission,” said Lu Hart, vice president of the Erin’s Angels of CNY Board of Directors. “We are deeply grateful to Lock 1 Distillery for stepping up and helping us reach children who rely on this support every week.”

According to recent data, 1 in 5 children in Oswego County experiences food insecurity, and nearly 1 in 8 residents’ lives in poverty, underscoring the ongoing need for local hunger-relief efforts.

MaryAnn D’Addio, chairperson of the Erin’s Angels of CNY Fundraising Committee, emphasized the impact of the initiative. “Events like this allow the community to turn a night out into meaningful action. Every dollar raised helps ensure children don’t have to face hunger alone.”

Lock 1 Distillery co-owner Brenden Backus said the partnership reflects the business’s commitment to the community. “We’re honored to partner with Erin’s Angels of CNY and do our part to support local children. This is about more than food and drinks, it’s about showing up for our neighbors.”

Proceeds from the fundraiser will directly support Erin’s Angels of CNY programs serving children throughout Oswego County and beyond.
