The City of Oswego will finally see some relief from the rough roads and large potholes as folks will start seeing the “Pothole Killer” working on city streets. Recently the Oswego Common Council unanimously agreed to the machine and service to repair some of the most severe areas of road in town to avoid further deterioration over the course of winter.
This initiative, led by Councilor Billy Barlow (R-5th Ward), was brought forth last month after the Council approved the last bit of paving projects for the year.
Barlow stated “This is an efficient, practical measure to patch and repair some of our roads before the winter weather arrives. This will provide some relief to our residents and help mitigate further damage as the colder weather approaches."
The “Pothole Killer” will be working in Oswego for the next month, appearing in all areas of the city focusing on the most damaged streets and potholes.
