Many business owners rely on a web developer to create and maintain their website. This may leave them vulnerable if they don't have a basic understanding of web terminology.

Evelyn LiVoti will review basic web terminology and show you how to maintain control over your website at the next Women's Network for Entrepreneurial Training's (WNET) monthly breakfast meeting, Thursday, June 5th, 8 a.m. at the SUNY Oswego Phoenix Center in the Oswego County Industrial Park, Phoenix (exit 14, State Route 481). This presentation will introduce you to tips and tools that will help you converse with your web developer confidently.

As the owner of By Detail, Ms. LiVoti works with self-employed women, professional service providers, who are overwhelmed by the multitude of marketing options, fret over the cost of marketing and can't figure out where to start. She helps them develop a stress-free marketing plan and creates affordable marketing pieces to get them started and moving forward in their business.

Through networking, presentations and information sharing, WNET provides professional development and personal growth for women in business.

The cost for each seminar is $12 for members and $15 for non-members. The WNET annual (Sept. 2013-Aug.2014) membership cost is $25. Each seminar includes a light breakfast.

WNET is supported locally by Operation Oswego County, SUNY Oswego Phoenix Center, NBT Bank, BeautiControl, By Detail and The Greater Oswego-Fulton Chamber of Commerce.

Pre-registration is required for each seminar, and may be made by calling Operation Oswego County, weekdays, at 315-343-1545, or via e-mail elivoti@oswegocounty.org. Payments by cash or check may be made at the door or be pre-paid via Credit Card on our website.
