Write a commentRonald Joseph Pratt, Sr, 71, of Fulton, New York passed away Saturday, April 13th, 2019.
Born in Watertown, New York in 1947, Ronald was the son of the late Thomas E. and Elizabeth C. (Radigan) Pratt.
He was a graduate of Augustinian Academy, Carthage, New York, Canton ATC, and attended Albany University.
Ronald worked at Hammermill (Oswego), and retired from Oswego County Department of Social Services, where he was well liked and made many long lasting friendships.
Ron loved sports. He played recreational basketball and softball for many years. He was a huge Syracuse University Football and Basketball fan.
Some of his favorite activities included having family together for outdoor activities such as NASCAR races, Oswego Speedway (every Saturday night), camping and Oswego Harborfest.
He was an avid hunter and fisher.
He was a member of the Elks Club, American Legion, Accountants of America and a former Board Member of the Pulaski Daycare.
Survivors include his beloved children Ronald (Jennifer) Pratt, Jr, CPA, Phoenix, NY, Jeffrey (Susan) Pratt, Essex, MD, Rachel Jo (Nick) MacCormack, Pulaski, NY; and Daniel Pratt, Pulaski, NY; His longtime and devoted partner Loretta Dreimiller and her family; along with siblings, twin sister Donna Kassman, Syracuse, NY, Thomas (Diane) Pratt, Las Vegas, NV, and Peggy (Charles) Ferguson, Temecula, CA; aunt Theresa Pratt Fuller, Felts Mills, NY; one niece, three nephews and cousins; and his grandchildren, Tyler Pratt, Bailey Elizabeth Pratt, and Ryleigh MacCormack.
In life as in Death, Ron was courageous and strong. He fought bravely and went peacefully watching a NASCAR race.
Calling hours will be held from 4:00 to 6:30pm Monday, April 29, with an informal prayer service to follow, at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home, 112 East Second Street in Oswego.
