In the wake of Hurricane Sandy, Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) volunteers have been asking how they can help. Since the Red Cross is one of our partnering agencies, we thought it appropriate to forward this recent information on how
people can help.
The Red Cross is looking for blood donors and the upcoming local blood drives are listed below. The Red Cross is accepting only monetary donations to assist the victims. Anyone wishing to donate clothes, blankets, etc., the Red Cross asks that they contact their local church.
Nov. 15 - McCrobie Civic Center, 41 Lake St., Oswego, 12-6 p.m.
Nov. 27 – Oswego Moose Lodge – 12:30-5:30 p.m.
Nov. 28 – Oswego Elks Lodge – 1130 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
