In honor of the 100th anniversary marking the end of WWI, the Town of Scriba recently dedicated a monument honoring its veterans from the war.

Community leaders and those who worked to make the monument possible recently attended the dedication ceremony.

From left are Scriba Town Supervisor Rob Ramsey, Scriba Town Board Member Kelly Lagoe, Assemblyman Will Barclay (R,C,I,Ref—Pulaski), Scriba Town Attorney Kevin Caraccioli, daughter of WWI Veteran Lyla Ellen, Founder of Oswego County WWI Commemoration Group Dan Allen, Scriba Town Historian Charles Young, and Scriba Town Board Member Joe Pasco.
