Write a commentThe Special Events Committee would like to announce the Richard S. Shineman Foundation as sponsor of the free trackless train ride at the Fulton Fall Festival, taking place on Saturday, October 4th, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Fulton War Memorial Complex.
During the event, guests can visit “Shineman Station” and enjoy a ride on the trackless train, which features four cars that hold 4-5 passengers each, traveling at speeds of up to seven mph. No tickets or registrations are necessary. This ride will operate on a first-come, first-served basis throughout the day.
“The Shineman Foundation is proud to support the 2025 Fulton Fall Festival,” said Kelly Green, Grant Program and Event Coordinator at the Richard S. Shineman Foundation. “Community events like this play a vital role in strengthening the social fabric of Oswego County by bringing people together, celebrating local culture, and fostering a sense of belonging. We are grateful for the dedication of the Special Events Committee and all the volunteers who make these events possible.”

The Fulton Special Events Committee is a non-profit organization of volunteers with the mission is to bring the Fulton community together by providing quality events and experiences for all ages. Other events scheduled for 2025 include the Tree Lighting Ceremony on Saturday, December 6th.
