The Oswego Public Library is bringing to a close their third and final gallery show of Ella Wheeler's glass plate negatives.

Ella arried Fred D. Wheeler, an Oswego businessman and public servant, in January 1880. Fred moved his new bride to the city and they had three children by 1886. Ella took photographs around town and as far away as Connecticut and Michigan from 1900 to 1909. Ella and Mabel, her eldest daughter, moved to San Francisco in 1910.
The gallery is located in the lowest level of the library along with the Library Learning Center, Community Room, and restrooms.
The Oswego Public Library is open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Thurusday; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.. Friday; and 12-5 p.m., Saturday and Sunday.
