Victory Transformation Visits Fulton Lions Club, Receives $1,000 Contribution

Daun Whittaker, former executive director, Victory Transformation (VT) of Oswego, was the featured speaker at the March 16 meeting of the Fulton Lions Club.

Whittaker, and Lion Mary Curcio, VT’s interim executive director , updated the Lions on the work of the organization. Victory Transformation is a Christian ministry that helps the homeless and those with critical needs. VT operates a drop-in center/warming shelter at 225 W. First St. in Oswego to help the homeless with the ultimate hope that their support will provide self-sufficiency and productivity. Following her presentation, Fulton Lions contributed $1,000 to the organization.

Chartered in 1953, the Fulton club continues to be one of the most active in their district.
