(Oswego, New York) — Just in time for spooky season, Savannah Stephens will visit the library on Saturday, October 3rd, from 1 to 2 pm to talk about her book, Witch Queen Rising.

Women`s self defense class to be held

     Leo Pryor's TaeKwondo America, at 133 E. Bridge St., is offering self defense classes for women.

     Taught by Kukkiwan certified black belts, the cost is $10 per class, with a special guest speaker from the law industry during the July 29 class
     Classes include situational awareness and technique, general information and safety strategies for women. Those participating are asked to wear something comfortable to all classes.

     Classes will be held from 6:30-8 p.m., Saturday June 29; from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, July 9, which will feature a guest speaker at 7 p.m.; and from 6:30-8 p.m., Saturday July 13.
