Write a commentFor the past 30 years, the Zonta Club of Oswego has recognized women whose hard work and dedication have made a difference in the lives of families in our community.
The Zonta Club is seeking nominations for this years’ Amelia Earhart Woman of Achievement award.
Amelia Earhart was a member of Zonta International from 1928 until her death in 1937. Earhart is quoted as saying, “Better do a good deed near at home than go far away to burn incense.”
Indeed this award honors a woman whose community service involvement has positively impacted Oswego County.

Nominations are due July 10, 2014.
