Write a commentOswego County 4-H will be offering a short-term Sparks Club focused on the upcoming holidays. There will be three sessions in this series, to be held 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. on Thursdays, February 8, March 7 and 14, 2024.
Participants will create one Valentine's Day decoration and one Easter/Spring Decoration. Sessions will be held on Thursday nights from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. at the Cooperative Extension Office in Mexico.
Sparks – Four Hs of the Holidays, Part 2 is open to Oswego County youth ages five to 18. There is no program fee for enrolled Oswego County 4-H Members. Youth not enrolled in Oswego County 4-H will pay a $15 fee, which includes enrollment into the Oswego County 4-H Program. Registration is required as space is limited. A parent or legal guardian must attend the first session to complete and sign additional enrollment paperwork. Children in Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grades must be chaperoned by an adult in accordance with insurance regulations.
This Sparks Club will meet at the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oswego County Office, 3288 Main Street in Mexico. Parking is available on the street, next door along the guardrail, or behind the office. Entrance is through the front door.
