Oswego County 4-H is excited to announce the formation of a 4-H club just for Cloverbuds, Sparks - Cloverbuds.

This club will be for youth who are enrolled in kindergarten, 1st or 2nd grades for the 2024-2025 school year or turning 5 before January 1, 2025. The club will meet once a month at the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oswego County office in Mexico from 2:00 - 3:30 p.m. on the second Saturday on the month starting September 14th.

Sparks - Cloverbuds will be studying a variety of topics from environmental education to STEM. There will be a different theme for each meeting. Individuals that join this club are expected to attend at least 6 meetings over the course of the year, not just one week. This club will participate in Oswego County 4-H fundraisers, the Oswego County fair and other county-wide events.

Parents or legal guardians will be asked to stay for some of the meetings in accordance with the risk management safety regulations. This information will be provided in advance. Parents can stay for every meeting if they wish. There is no program fee for enrolled Oswego County 4-H members. Youth not enrolled in Oswego County 4-H will pay a $15 fee, which includes enrollment into the Oswego County 4-H Program. Registration is limited to eight youths.
