The Child Advocacy Center (CAC) of Oswego County has announced that the 6th Annual CAC Wing Fest will be held Friday, March 10, 2017.
Hosted by the Lake Ontario Event and Conference Center, East First Street in Oswego, the event will take place from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. with wings being served from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m.
The CAC Chicken Wing Fest will feature chicken wings from a variety of Oswego County’s favorite eateries. Each restaurant will offer samples of their signature chicken wings as they compete for the CAC’s Golden Chicken Trophy for the best chicken wing. Additionally, samples will be available for a wide selection of brews courtesy of Eagle Beverage of Oswego.
With more than 700 people in attendance last year committee members anticipate the demand for tickets to Wing Fest 2017 will be high. “We have already begun receiving inquiries about when tickets will be available,” said CAC Executive Director Karrie Damm. “As a result we will be making tickets available for purchase December 1st online at www.oswegowingfest.com. Since its inception Wing Fest has grown exponentially. "We appreciate the support we have received from the community and are looking forward to another great event for a great cause, ending child abuse in Oswego County!”
