Indivisible Oswego County (IOC) will host their next Community Meeting on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at the Scriba Fire Department Community Hall, beginning at 6:30 p.m. The event is open to the public.
The evening will feature national activist Matt Gordon, who has spent the past year traveling across the United States speaking with veteran groups, community organizations, and participating in ongoing activities in Washington, D.C.
Matt’s presentation will highlight the growing number of grassroots efforts and community‑driven initiatives he has witnessed nationwide…efforts he believes are helping to shift momentum and inspire renewed civic engagement. His story reflects both the challenges facing veterans and communities today and the powerful resilience emerging across the country.
“Matt’s encouraging message is one we all need to hear, now more than ever,” an IOC representative said in its announcement. Following Matt’s presentation, the event will include round table discussions on the pressing issues facing our community.
The public is encouraged to bring friends, relatives, neighbors, and anyone interested in hearing this real‑life account from a local American veteran whose experiences continue to resonate across the nation.
