Indivisible Oswego County (IOC) is gearing up for what organizers anticipate will be its most significant public demonstration to date as the No Kings - No Wars Rally returns on Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
This year’s event will feature an expanded theme- “No Kings, No Wars” reflecting growing concerns about presidential authority and recent U.S. military actions in the Middle East.
A Larger Footprint and a New Organizational Structure
To accommodate what is expected to be a record-breaking turnout, the 2026 rally will return to its traditional location on the Bridge Street Bridge, but the demonstration area will expand East and West along Bridge Street as needed. Organizers say the new layout is designed to maximize visibility, safety, and coordination.
The rally area will be divided into multiple sections, each overseen by a Zone Leader and a Safety Team member. Participants will be asked to stand in single-file lines along the zone of their choice, holding signs, flags, and other materials to ensure maximum visibility to passing motorists and pedestrians.
Zone leaders will help participants position themselves effectively and maintain a steady, organized presence along the roadway. Safety Team members — each equipped with a walkie-talkie and body camera — will monitor their zones and respond to any disruptive behavior.
Open to the Public, With Registration Encouraged
The event is free and open to the public, and IOC encourages attendees to register in advance to help organizers document total participation after the rally. Registration, while not mandatory, can be completed by logging onto: https://mobilize.us/s/j9eslI
