I’m Going to Disney World! Jordyn Badalato, pictured with her mother Becky, proudly displays the set of 4 Disney World Park Hopper Passes that she won at Oswego County Opportunities Literacy Volunteers Scrabble® Fest. Jordyn, her Mom Becky, a National Grid employee, along with National Grid Regional Jurisdictional Manager Wally Dengos made up the team representing one of the event’s major sponsors, National Grid. The passes, which were donated by Disney World, were among the many raffle prizes and door prizes available during the event. Scrabble® Fest is a major fundraiser for OCO Literacy Volunteers, which provides confidential tutoring services such as basic literacy (reading and writing), English literacy to improve English speaking, reading and writing skills and some simple math and computer skills at no cost to the students.
