The Friends of Oswego Public Library are inviting members of the public to become friends of the library. Membership dues and other funds raised by the Friends of the Library are used to support programs and services of Oswego Public Library, including: crafts and refreshments for the children's room programs, children`s programs for the summer, a teen exercise/fitness program and a part-time instructor to teach computer workshops in the Library Learning Center.
The Friends also promote literacy and reading in the community by hosting author and book review programs, donating books to the library and Oswego's Bookmobile, and sponsoring a library book club known as the Reading Circle.
