The Oswego County Bunner Street Complex has undergone extensive renovations over the last two years and now houses the county’s Board of Elections and Public Defenders’ offices; in addition to Office for the Aging, Assigned Counsel and Public Health departments.

Voters are asked to take note of the new location ahead of the early voting period, which runs from Oct. 25 to Nov. 2. During that time, office staff and volunteers will host additional hours in their new offices and travel out into the community to make it easier for registered voters to cast their ballot.

There are two early voting locations:

  • Oswego County Board of Elections Office: 74 Bunner St., Oswego
  • Douglas Barclay Court House: 1 Broad St., Pulaski

Polls will be open on the following days and times:

  • Saturday, Oct. 25 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Sunday, Oct. 26 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Monday, Oct. 27 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Oct. 28 from noon to 8 p.m.
  • Wednesday, Oct. 29 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Thursday, Oct. 30 from noon to 8 p.m.
  • Friday, Oct. 31 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Saturday, Nov. 1 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Sunday, Nov. 2 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Oswego County has been redistricted since last year, so some election districts and poll sites may be different for some voters. Post cards were mailed out in the spring to notify voters of these changes.

For more information about voting districts, poll sites and early voting, go to www.oswegocounty.com/elections. The mailing address for Oswego County Board of Elections is 74 Bunner St., Oswego, N.Y., 13126; and regular business hours are 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

The renovated facility is also home to the Oswego County Public Defender’s and Assigned Counsel offices. The mailing address for each department is 74 Bunner St., Oswego, N.Y., 13126; and regular business hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.

The Oswego County Office for the Aging moved back into their renovated offices earlier this year and staff are now able to provide assistance to seniors in the new space. Still, the agency continues to hold regular community hours across the county every month to help those who cannot travel to the main office.

The mailing address for the Oswego County Office for the Aging is 70 Bunner St., Oswego, N.Y., 13126; and regular business hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. For assistance, call 315-349-3484.

The Oswego County Youth Bureau / Parks and Recreation Department remains housed in the building. The bureau/department, which hosted Oswego County Office for the Aging staff throughout the remodel, continues to serve the county’s youth with expanded summer programming, new parks facilities and year-round programs for children and young people; empowering them to grow into active, informed and productive citizens with bright futures.
