Oswego County Legislature Re-Elects Officers in Annual Elections

Legislator James Weatherup, District 9, was re-elected to his second term as Chairman of the Oswego County Legislature at the group’s 2020 organizational meeting.

Legislators also re-elected Linda Lockwood, District 11, to her seventh term as Vice Chairwoman, and re-elected Christopher Jones to his fourth term as Clerk of the Legislature.

New York State Supreme Court Justice Gregory R. Gilbert administered the oaths of office at the first legislative meeting of the year.

The Legislature’s next regular meeting is scheduled for 2 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 13 in the Legislative Chambers of the County Office Building at 46 E. Bridge St., Oswego.
