The Oswego State men's swimming and diving team fell 163-125 to Geneseo Saturday afternoon at Laker Pool. The Lakers drop to 4-5 on the year, while the Knights move to 8-3.
Jacob Mullett took home a first place finish in the 100-yard backstroke, clocking in at 1:01.35. Zach Gerber touched in right behind him, scooping up second with a time of 1:03.26. Austin Nau also earned points as well, collecting four as he finished the 100-yard freestyle at the 49.54 mark.
At the diving well, Justin Berrios nabbed nine points for the Lakers in the one meter dive. Berrios put up a score of 275.20, which surpasses an NCAA score mark. If the senior can post a score similar to this in an upcoming meet, he will be able to participate in the NCAA's for the one meter dive.
Men's swimming and diving will return to action at 2 p.m. on Saturday, where it will host Potsdam at Laker Pool.
