The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) has announced that five Oswego State women's lacrosse student-athletes have earned Academic Honor Roll accolades.
To earn the honor, players had to be at least a junior and finish the season with a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher.
The Lakers that received the distinction were Ashley Curaba (Sr., wellness management, 3.63), Mackenzie Kjerstad (Sr, economics, 3.63), Megan McNulty (Sr., biology, 3.72), Elise Tartaglia (Sr., accounting/management, 3.82) and Becky Guess (Jr., biology, 3.55). Oswego's number of student-athletes nabbing the honor led all State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) squads.
There were 738 students recognized across 162 different institutions from all three divisions of the NCAA. Division III led all levels with 363 student-athletes named to the honor roll.
