
The Oswego State men's golf team placed fifth and sixth in the 9th Annual Oswego Spring Invite Sunday afternoon at Oswego Country Club.
In the 10 team tournament, the Oswego 'A' team took fifth with a two-day score of 655 while the Lakers' 'B' team posted a score of 667, earning them sixth. The invite consisted of 50 total golfers.
Individually, Tyler Wurzer turned in the Lakers best performance, scoring a 79 today, combining for a two-round score of 159 and tying him for ninth overall. Also putting up good numbers was Dan North, who tied for 12th with a score of 161. Stuart Winn was the final Oswego student-athlete to finish in the top-20 notching 19th with a final score of 164.
