The Oswego State men's golf team continued to play well this spring, as it finished second with a team score of 351 at the seven-team Elmira Spring Invitational, Tuesday, April 23.
Host Elmira took first place with a team score of 336, while Evan Clarke earned medalist honors after carding a round of 79.
Dustin Farley (Jr., Utica, N.Y.) was the top Laker finisher after posting a score of 82, which was good for second place. Senior Nick Sterling (Gouverneur, N.Y.) tied for ninth with a round of 89, while John Mackie (Jr., Bellport, N.Y.) and Dan North (Fr., Ilion, N.Y.) fired identical rounds of 90 to tie for 13th. Tom Mills (So., Macedon, N.Y.) and Tyler Wurzer (Fr., Huntington Station, N.Y.) closed out Oswego State's rounds with scores of 92 and 95, respectively.
The Lakers wrap up the season this weekend when they host the two-day Oswego State Spring Invitational on Saturday and Sunday at the Oswego Country Club.
