The men's and women's swimming and diving teams recorded their first victories Saturday, Nov. 2, with the men winning 81-38 and the women winning 77-44 against Wells College.
The Lakers came in first and second place in the men's 200-yard medley relay. Aidan Meehan came in first place in the 1,000-yard freestyle. Austin Nau finished first in the 100 yard backstroke.
Pasha Rusakov won the 100-yard breaststroke. Raman Sanjay placed first in the 200 yard butterfly. Devon Foster won the 200-yard backstroke and Jacob Mullett came in first in the 200-yard breaststroke.
James Dillon placed first in the 500-yard freestyle race, while Thomas Kearney won the 100 yard butterfly.
The women found success against the Express as well.
Oswego placed first and second in the women's 200-yard medley relay. Katelyn Bauersach placed first in the 1,000-yard freestyle and the 100 yard butterfly. Katie Flood won the 200- and 500-yard freestyle races.
Emily Karszes placed first in the 100-yard breaststroke and the 200 yard breaststroke. Sabia Filiaci won the 200-yard butterfly as well as the 100-yard freestyle. Ashley Rodecame in first in the 200-yard backstroke.
Oswego will return to action when they travel to Potsdam to take on Clarkson University for a 1 p.m. meet Saturday, Nov. 9.
