The Oswego State men`s and women`s track and field teams competed in the Ithaca College Bomber Invitational on Saturday.
Brandon Comden (22.85) and Matt Wagenhauser (22.89) finished just .04 apart in the 200-meter dash, both nabbing top 10 finishes. Comden took fourth place while Wagenhauser placed sixth.
Senior Andy Baldwin also had a top 10 finish, taking fifth in the 400 with a time of 51.34. Nick Reinsdorf placed just outside the top 10, grabbing a 13th place finish with a time of 52.86.
In the field, Chris Bridgewater took eighth in the triple jump, leaping 13.53 meters.
On the women's side, Katie Bott ran the 800 in 2:24.98 which was good for an eighth place finish. Teammate Sarah Popovitch finished just four slots back in 2:27.20.
Abigail Boyce jumped 10.30 meters in the triple to place 15th for the Lakers.
Oswego will return to action at 4 p.m. on Friday when it takes part in the RIT Tiger Invite in Rochester, N.Y.
