The Amboy 4-H Environmental Education Center is excited to announce a new program for all ages titled Wildflower Walk and Sketch.
This nature art program will take place on Sunday, September 28th from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. at the Center, located in eastern Oswego County.
Designed for people of all ages, Wildflower Walk and Sketch introduces participants to wildflowers blooming in late September through an artistic lens. Come learn how some species got their names and ended up here, along with their traditional uses. Then break out your colored pencils and sketch books as we take a closer look at the flora along our trails.
This program offers a unique opportunity for people to connect with nature, learn about local wildflowers, and develop an appreciation for plant life in a fun and interactive setting. While space is limited, registration is open to all —residency in Oswego County is not required. The fee to participate is $4 per person or $12 per family. Advance registration is required to attend. Please register at https://reg.cce.cornell.edu/FlowerWalknSketch_235.
