The Oswego State men's basketball team dropped a home contest to Oneonta in a rescheduled game on Wednesday night.
Oswego's loss is its third setback in the last four games but the Lakers still remain atop the SUNYAC standings, tied with Plattsburgh heading into the final weekend.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Oswego scored the tilt's first two buckets before Oneonta rattled off a 17-4 run over 6:07 to gain control.
- The Lakers responded with a 12-2 spurt over 4:12 to regain a one-point advantage, 20-19, with 6:21 left in the period.
- Both clubs traded blows down the stretch in the first, resulting in a 29-29 tie at the break.
- Oswego entered the second half looking poised to grab momentum, scoring six of the first seven points in the stanza.
- That 6-1 span gave the Lakers a five-point margin at 35-30, but it proved to be its largest lead of the night.
- The Red Dragons answered with an 11-0 outburst in less than three minutes to grab back the advantage which it would not relinquish the rest of the way.
- Oswego was able to shrink its deficit to just two at 43-41, but Oneonta pulled away over the final 12 minutes.
- On the night, Liam Sanborn led the Lakers with 19 points and three rebounds.
- Also scoring in double figures were Tyler Pierre (14) and Brandan Gartland (12). Pierre closed the night with a double-double, collecting a team-high 10 rebounds.
- The Lakers were uncharacteristically cold from distance, shooting nearly 10-percent lower than their season percentage and making five less than the squad averages per game.
- Oswego also struggled in rebounding margin – a category which it currently ranks seventh nationally (+10.3) – collecting eight less than its opponent over the 40 minutes.

The Lakers head west on Friday to face Brockport at 7:30 p.m. before closing the conference slate at Geneseo on Saturday. Oswego has clinched a top-two seed in the SUNYAC Championship and the outcomes of this weekend's games will determine whether Plattsburgh or the Lakers will have home-court advantage.
