The Oswego Music Hall's Fall 2025 season opens on Friday and Saturday evenings this week.
Friday, September 12th brings Irish duo The Black Donnellys to the stage as part of the Music Hall's Guest Curator program - Oswego's Rich Faith will produce the show.
The Black Donnellys are Dave Rooney and Dave Browne. They perform regularly at the famed RiRa Irish pub at the Mandalay Hotel in Las Vegas. They're in town for a September 11 show at the Ancient Order of Hibernians. All proceeds from this show will be donated to Mother Nature Festival Live, Inc., a non-profit devoted to fighting global warming.
Headlining on Opening Weekend on the National Stage on Saturday, September 13th will be the father/son duo of Loren and LJ Barrigar. "Their performance at The Music drew a great crowd in September of 2024, so we decided to invite them back once again this fall," said Program Director Tom Lambert.
Area Music legend Loren Barrigar has been known on the national guitar scene since the 1970's. His son LJ Barrigar is a self-taught player, and the duo has been performing their finger picking style of music in upstate New York and beyond for several years.
The non-profit Oswego Music Hall is located inside the McCrobie Civic Center on Lake Street in Oswego. The venue is handicapped-accessible, and shows are open to all ages. Light refreshments are available.
Doors open at 7:00 pm for a 7:30 show time. Tickets are available at www.OswegoMusicHall.org or at The River's End Bookstore in downtown Oswego.
