Lakers Split; Vilchez Hits Walk Off Double in Win

The Oswego State softball team split its third day of competition at the PFX Athletics Spring Games on Wednesday morning. It opened with tough 4-3 loss in the first game against Southwestern University before walking off 6-5 against Concordia University (Wisc.) in the latter game.

Six Lakers had a hit against the Pirates, led by Rebecca Vilchez and Joelle Nesci, who each drove in a run. Rounding out the six Oswego players with a hit were Erin Sweeney, Ashley Lyman, Allison Hallett and Gabriella Vertuccio.
