The Oswego State men`s cross country team took seventh at the Harry F. Anderson Invitational hosted by Roberts Wesleyan on Saturday afternoon. The 8K contest included 25 teams and 233 runners.
Leading the Lakers was freshman Justin Sommer, who crossed the finish line at 26:51.5, which was good enough for 22 in the race. He was followed closely by Tyler Morris (26:56.0) and Colin Greenseich (26:59.3), who came in 24th and 26th, respectively. The team finished with eight runners in the top 100.
The squad will be back in action next Saturday when it partakes in the Hamilton College Invitational.
