The Oswego State field hockey team fell to Oneonta 3-0 on Sunday at Laker South Athletic Field. Oswego finishes the season 5-9 overall and 1-5 in SUNYAC play.
Despite holding the Red Dragons scoreless in the second half, the Lakers were unable to find the back of the net to try and eliminate the three-goal deficit. All three Oneonta goals came in the first half, with the first score achieved in the 8th minute.
Ashley Fiorille led the Lakers with two shots. Priscilla Paulose started in goal for Oswego and stopped three shots while surrendering the three scores. Grace Lombardi moved to net for the second half and shutout Oneonta, saving two shots.
