The Oswego State women`s cross country team finished 15th out of 22 teams at the University of Rochester Yellowjacket Invitational at Genesee Valley Park on Saturday morning.
Oswego was led by senior Meghan Murphy's 25.25.2 time, which was good for a 65th place finish out of more than 150 runners.
Next for the Lakers was junior Katie Laris, who was less than 20 second back of Murphy, clocking in at 25:45.0. Teammates Sarah Popovitch and Katie Bott were less than a second apart with times of 25:57.2 and 25:57.9, respectively.
Freshman Lauren McNamara also finished in the top 90, crossing the finish line with a time of 26:33.9.
Oswego will be back in Rochester for its next meet at 11 a.m. on Saturday when Robert Wesleyan College hosts the Harry F. Anderson Invitational.
