The Oswego State women's basketball team dropped its first game of the 2013-14 campaign with a 79-53 loss at the hands of host University of Rochester Tuesday night, Nov. 26. With the loss, the Lakers are now 3-1 on the year.
Oswego was led by guard Jenn Robbins who led all scorers with 19 points, shooting 7-for-17 from the field including 3-for-5 from beyond the arc. Backcourt mate Taylor Sorell was nearly perfect from the floor, missing just one shot (4-for-5). The sophomore was perfect from the 3-point line, making both of her attempts.
Heather Hebert missed double-digits by just one point, scoring nine while grabbing a team-high six rebounds. The forward also led the team with two steals.
Rochester never trailed in the game, scoring the contest's first seven points.
