Write a commentTeam Abold Racing will be holding their 3rd annual Bicycle Give-Away at Oswego Speedway this Saturday, July 19th.
It will be held on Children's Museum of Oswego / Oswego County Habitat for Humanity / Chase Enterprises Autograph Night. Following the autograph session, which begins at 5:15 pm, every child 16 and under who registers will be eligible to win a new bicycle, absolutely FREE!
Jeff Abold, driver of the A&P Automotive car #05 in Oswego Speedway's Novelis Supermodified division, told IHeartOswego that in 2024, the team was able to give away 65 brand new bikes. "Our friends and fans have been very generous with their donations this year," Abold said. "We already have more bikes than last year, and hope we'll actually double that number."
Jeff Abold and Mike Silliman of A&P Automotive and Team Abold showed us the bikes they had already received as of last Friday. "Folks have assured us that more bikes and helmets will be coming in this week," Silliman said. "We would love to be able to give a bike to every kid who wants one."
Gates open at 4pm at Oswego Speedway on Saturday. Warmups also begin at 4pm, with the Autograph Session and Bike Give-Away starting at 5:15 pm. Heat races are scheduled for 6:30 pm.
