But the event doesn't stop there. For the first time ever, Team New York, Open Gender — will hit the track, making their official debut against the visiting Divergence Roller Derby mash up team. This groundbreaking game promises pure derby chaos as both teams are made of seasoned A/AA skaters from near and far. Doors open at 3 p.m., with the first whistle at 4 p.m. Food, drinks, merch, and family-friendly fun available all evening with live commentary. Salt City Roller Derby is a non-profit organization committed to promoting the sport of roller derby, empowering athletes, and fostering a supportive and inclusive community, both on and off the track.
