Your skills, vision, and commitment touch every corner of our state—from classrooms and hospitals to small businesses and public service. Your work strengthens our communities and makes progress possible. 

Labor Day also reminds us that supporting fair, safe, and rewarding workplaces is an ongoing responsibility. The rights we enjoy today are the result of the determination and advocacy over many years, and we must continue to build on that foundation for generations to come.

As we enjoy this Labor Day, I extend my gratitude to the hardworking men and women whose efforts keep New York moving forward. Thank you for all you do—enjoy this day of rest with your families and loved ones.
