Indivisible- Oswego County Celebrates Flag Day and The 250th Anniversary of the United States Army

Come join in the celebration of this historic anniversary.

We welcome everyone to gather on the Bridge St. Bridge with Flags and Banners from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on June 14th as we rally round the red, white, and blue.

Oswego has access to an incredibly historic location on the shoreline of Lake Ontario. IOC will join the festivities at our beautiful Fort Ontario following the rally as we honor the 250^th birthday of the United States Army with an old-fashioned family picnic.

IOC will have food, water, lawn games, and lots of good conversation among friends. Bring your lawn chairs or blankets as we gather at the entrance of the Fort Ontario Post Cemetery at 11:30 am.

The Syracuse Recruiting Battalion at Fort Ontario will be offering food trucks, historic military vehicles, a revolutionary war encampment and a timeline of uniforms and equipment of the U.S. Army from 10:00 am to 3:30 pm for visitors to enjoy.
