     The Oswego varsity wrestling team lost to Auburn 42-21 at the Oswego Middle School.

     The Oswego boys' indoor track team opened its 2012-13 season with a strong performance at the Jack Morse Holiday Relays.

     The bowling teams went back into action to face off against Cicero-North Syracuse where the boys won two of three games and the girls won all three points.

     A four goal outburst by Justin Clark led the Oswego Buc boys' hockey team to a 7-0 blanking of Clinton at the Clinton Arena.

     A furious second-half charge carried the Oswego varsity girls' basketball team to a 49-45 victory over host Henninger on Tuesday.

     The Oswego Buccaneers kicked off their 2012-2013 season with a 100-77 win Monday night against Weedsport.

     Each year students in Tom Wiegand's fifth-grade classroom at the Frederick Leighton Elementary School cannot wait until they have the opportunity to "freeze."
     Several years ago, Wiegand commenced a project that immersed his students in history.
